Artist Profile
In 2009, Petra completed a Certificate IV in Visual Arts at Sunshine Coast TAFE – Noosa campus. Petra found herself amazed at the number of skills she learned during this time and therefore went on to do a Diploma in Ceramics which she has now completed.
“I like to capture nature in my ceramics, each season has different offerings. I enjoy seeing people pick up my creations and using them.
All my pieces are hand-built, I use Red Iron Oxide in a lot of my work to visually enhance a shadow effect.
